The Landing operates a daytime Drop-In Center – a non-judgmental safe space where adult survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation can recover from trauma, escape exploitation, and start the long-term restoration process. We encourage and empower survivors to become independent by meeting basic needs and increasing awareness of the resources available to survivors.
Through personal case management and action planning, our intention is to meet people where they are – wherever it may be – and support them throughout their journey. Drop-In services we provide include:

The Landing’s Drop-In Center has served over 1,500 adult survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation since opening in 2016. Our Drop-In Center, specifically designed to serve survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation, is the only of its kind in Houston.
The Landing uses trauma-informed, culturally competent care to foster a safe, healing environment for survivors of human trafficking. Using proven models, such as Trust-Based Relational Intervention and Motivational Interviewing, our Drop-In Center staff and Case Managers are able to effectively support and empower survivors on their journey.
